We took the Princess and the Baby Ball to Club Bambino on the Baby Ball’s birthday a few months ago. It was a small space but just perfect for my just-turned-2-year old to use up his energy.
When the Princess was 2 years old, we were able to take her to Gymboree in Westgate, Alabang for playtime, and even enroll her in a few classes there in preparation for preschool. Although I don’t have regular workdays, schedule and transportation constraints prevent us from doing the same for the Baby Ball. For his second birthday, we decided it was high time we took him to a playplace, which would be perfect for the ever-bouncing, rolling, running, climbing little guy.
Club Bambino is a playplace inside BF Homes, located on the second floor of a building called Noah’s Place. It is undoubtedly smaller than what we were used to in Gymboree, but it was a good enough space for safe playtime. The kids (yes, even my 5-year old) had a blast.
It’s good to note that there are cafés, a coffee shop, spa, and a grocery in the same building, and several banks, salons, and other service areas nearby. I imagine that moms can have play or class time for the kids at Club Bambino while getting errands done.
I was able to chat a bit with the owner (she was very nice), who was a former teacher-administrator in De La Salle Zobel, and she was very passionate about her plans for the small gym. Club Bambino has year-round classes and special seasonal activities throughout the year. Check out their facebook or give them a call before you go, though, to make sure the playplace is open for free play and there are no classes scheduled.
They did have a great time. Must have a play session for the Baby Ball here soon!
