Family Time at Evia Lifestyle Center

After seeing how the Evia Lifestyle Mall has expanded from the photos I took (see post here), the hubby and I scheduled family time there so he and the kids could check it out too.  The kiddos had a grand time running around in the air-conditioned atrium, while we had quite the workout running after them.

One of the things I love about most malls soM (south of Manila) we frequent are that they have relatively big, open spaces incorporated in their design. For me, overall soM malls just feel less crowded, less hectic, and more “chill” than most malls I’ve been to up North.

Several families spending time together there too

Both of my kids enjoy exploring open spaces, watching fountains, running around, running after each other, running after Mama and Papa… well, you get the picture.

But anyway, here are literally more pictures for good measure, so you can see what I’m talking about.

The Princess and Baby Ball watching the fountains
The hubby and I were watching to see if the Baby Ball would climb up the railing. Thankfully he hasn’t thought of trying that.. yet.
This was actually the calmest part of our time at the Atrium.
And… after getting their fill of watching the fountains from several angles, and so the running begins.

Princess: Let’s go, let’s go!
Baby Ball: Ate, wait for me!
Baby Ball: Ate, come back here!
Princess: Mama, he’s trying to carry me!
Mom: No carrying your sister!
Where are we going now?
Princess: Again, again! Back to the fountains, c’mon! (Repeat sequence 20x)
No, this wasn’t the end of the running. Resting lang yan. Bwelo lang.
So anyway, just as I expected, the kiddos had a blast running around in the atrium of Evia Lifestyle Center.  I love that this space makes for awesome bonding time, that it’s air-conditioned, that it’s free and accessible, and it’s good physical activity pa!  Up next on the blog is where we decided to wind down after all that exercise: the picturesque and instagram-worthy Vanilla Cupcake Bakery.
