The hubby and I were looking for a place to have a light, quick breakfast before doing errands in Madison Galeries. We were able to park right in front of this bakery/coffee shop, which led me to think it was really meant to be that we finally try Boulangerie 22.

Boulangerie (bu-lown-je-ree) is French for bakery, or a place where bread is sold. Boulangerie 22 is a french-inspired cafe which is another welcome addition to the Madison Galeries Lifestyle Mall. I realized I found another alternative haven of baon for the Princess, and a cake source for me!

Macaroons, whole cakes, cake slices, and bottled and tetra-packed drinks at the counter.

I appreciate that the goodies are already individually packed. Perfect for school or office baon.

A closer look at some of the savories. Their croissants are yummy by the way, and you can buy them by the pack or individually.

Sweetbreads and cookies that the little ones will love seeing in their lunch boxes.
Let’s have a closer look at those cakes, shall we?

How cute are these, diba? I’ve yet to try them, but they seem perfect for birthdays or special occasions for the kids. I was surprised that these animal character cakes are all priced from Php699-899.

Their more conventional cake designs are nice too. The Light Mocha Espresso cake on the top left is only Php380.
Version 2
This white chocolate curls cake with a teddy bear and wings is Php699.

Aside from bread, cakes and pastries, Boulangerie 22 offers a few soup and pasta items for those wanting a heavier meal. The cafe also serves coffee and a modest selection of flavored tea.

Some other items on display for your cooking or snacking needs.
Version 2
There are several jams to go with your breads. The calamansi brandy jam caught my eye, but I forgot to get a bottle after we ate.
Boulangerie 22 prides itself on being 100% natural, using special packaging technology that ensures freshness and sanitation, and reduced gluten.

There are a few tables where you can sit back and enjoy your bread and coffee in this french-inspired cafe, so we decided to relax a bit for kwentuhan time before doing our errand runs.

Version 2
Our orders: mini croissants, floss bread, coffee, bottled water. We also got a sweet snack for the Princess, who we were going to pick up after errands.
We enjoyed our orders, as well as the ambiance. Those croissants were perfect for a morning munch with good coffee. Their bread and pastries are also good alternatives to grocery-bought snack items for the kids since they’re conveniently packed individually, and priced so they won’t break your baon budget.  We’ll definitely come back to try their other breads and cakes.
